My heart is on the line for every student at Alex Green. Kids need to know that you love them and you care. I want kids get everything they deserve. I want them to be thinkers. I want them to inspire and educate the generation coming after them.

Uniform Requirements
Students May Wear
- Students wear uniforms daily (uniform is optional for Pre-K)
- Tops: Any solid color polo-type shirt with a collar
- Bottoms: Navy, black, khaki or solid colored blue
- No more than 3 inches above the knee
- Button or zip up jackets
Students May Not Wear
- Crocs, slides, sandals, etc.
- Hats, hoods, caps, bandanas
- Jeans or denim
- Crop tops, spaghetti straps or tank tops
- Ripped or torn clothing
School Supplies
Metro Nashville Public Schools will provide all Kindergarten and first grade students with supplies free of charge for the 2026-27 school year. Students will still need to bring backpacks, and Kindergarten students need to bring two sets of extra clothes labeled with their name.
